PC Case Gear have a USB 3.0 8 port hub for $39.00 Camel'...

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=262&products_id=24908

Edit: Or there is this powered hub, which i have been thinking of getting from Officeworks a little bit dearer though.

Thanks Bear, The case gear one is simply a hub, so I would assume it needs an internal usb3 connector to start with, which is not available? The manufacturers site doesnt say anymore than the pccasegears ad.

Again I assume the officeworks unit requires a usb3 port to input?

What im trying to do is add usb3 to a pc that has no native usb3, and no pci-e slots available, you know family, nothings ever easy.

Thanks for the suggestion though, lonewolfs suggestion of the pci card looks good, but bloody expensive.
Cheers

Just thought I would add that I know pci bus will not give usb3 at full speed.
