Question, does this program also require it's own special password to be uninstalled? Or to ask a more broad question, what kind of prevention tools does this have from being simply uninstalled?

Great guide by the way :).

Hi, and thanks for the kind words. To uninstall K9 you have to enter the admin password, the same one needed to make any changes to the config. Had a play with it and thought I'd reset my pc clock to get around some time restrictions I'd set. That didn't work, wouldn't let me access the net. I do not know if the app would stop a determined hacker, but probably would keep most in line?

BTW. If you click "forgot password" it will immediately send a new password to the email used to get the app originally. So I guess if ultimate security is paramount then that is not good unless you have a private email address?

Sooo this in combination with a standard user account should keep kids locked down, not bad at all.

If I had a child they sure wouldn't know my email password so I do not think that would matter.
