Fix Frozen Start Menu In Windows 10

Operating System
Windows 10
A rather annoying occurrence in Windows 10 has been a frozen Start Menu and non-working Cortana. You can fix this in several different ways:

Method 1: Restart The Computer

It's the most common way to cure weird things going on with your PC and very well may fix this.

Method 2: Does it happen under another User Profile?

Create a new user

Method 3: Using The Command Prompt/PowerShell

There is a command which will re-deploy all the built in apps and potentially fix this issue.

Open a Command Prompt and type:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

This process may take a few minutes, but using one of these three methods should sort out the issue.
